‘The Western Road Urban Garden is an exciting project in Southall Green that we have been working on since February 2022. This large, over 2 acre site, was overgrown for decades and full of refuse and fly tipped materials. With the help of our great volunteers and partners we have cleaned up the land and are making further improvements so that it can be used safely by residents.

Our vision is to create an environmental hub that will help educate people about improving their environment, learn about food growing and gain the skills to look after a large green space.

We have already built a polytunnel, fruit orchard, raised planting beds and allotment space at the Urban Garden and will involve residents in the future development of the site.
